I have found that 184 strides/min is a comfortable cadence for me while jogging/running at both 8mph and 12mph on the treadmill.
Anybody else ever measure their stride frequency?
I used to have access to a 15mph treadmill, but it burnt out and was replaced with another 12mph model--but I would bet that I would have been at 184 at 15mph also!
Is it unusual to maintain the same stride frequency over this type of a range? Those are both slow speeds for me.
What about elites, say a Geb marathon, or a KB 10,000m? Stride frequencies?
