I have been running for a little under a year and have a bet with one of my co workers that I can run a marathon under 3 hours. My brother ran track in college and has been training me for the last 10 months and wants me to do a 25k four weeks out from my marathon. The question is should I do the 25k at my marathon race pace or all out. I want to race it all out he says do it at marathon race pace. Right now I've built up to running 65-70 miles a week and have already done 13 miles at 6:45 pace. The marathon isn't for another 3 months. My thought is that I will crush 3 hours. So I'm not worried about being tired from the 25k.
