Can you tell us what the course is like and what the weather was like?
How pressed was he?
Tadese Tola is running the Bolder Boulder just 2 days
after this race.
It should be interesting to see how he does.
It was unreal. He destroyed the field by close to 50 seconds and he did win the gender challenge. He ran it for the most part solo. Weather sunny, about 23 C with a slight breeze. Amazing how he put on.
It's about time the olympic committee established a fair, standard process that all countries need to abide by if they want to send their athletes to the olympics.
For example, each country needs to have an olympic trials on a date determined 1 year before the olympics. no surprises. Everyone with an A or B standard can participate, period. No politics, no country-specific rules, no nonsense. I am tiered of seeing the stupid, ridiculous politics behind our sport in countries like kenya and ethiopia. No wonder Sammy was looking to move to Qatar.
This chain reminded me of a crazy split G.Mutai had in the baa 10k last year.

27:19 the hard way, he split 13:19 For the second 5k. Which I believe included going up beacon hill, which is a pretty solid 400-600m hill.
Course is flat w just one weird sharp turn and short climb. Not perfect, but a legit PR course.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06

Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
