Ok so I am just finishing up running freshman year. I did all 3 seasons and have done alright but nothing special this year(3rd best freshman on team). A select few constantly make fun of me for my high voice, being really skinny, and because I am not good at standing up for myself. One kid in particular makes it his job to make fun of me every single moment he sees me. So, naturally, this kid joins outdoor track after being cut from every team and making fun of xc all year. It was almost unbearable having him on the team, every day I looked forward to xc and track because we would have so much fun, and then he comes along and ruins it. Now I only enjoy myself while on the runs, I still love running, and have tons of friends on the team, but for some reason they like him! There are a couple of weird kids on the team that he simply tortures also. Now, after running 33 200m, dropping out of the mile he begged coach to run, and just being terrible in general, he is doing xc next year. He's convincing some of his friends also to do xc who i hate and I wan't to know how I can stop them from "picking on" me. Will training my ass off help (my current plan)? Thanks in advance
