Take the Nike swoosh off and it's a throwback. Like no one knows that Nike and Oregon are synonymous. There's no need for the swoosh.
Now if they would just bring back the old shoes.
Sure that would be neat. Nothing wrong with the yellow and green but I always liked the maroon jerseys of Washington State University.

And take off the Pac 12 logo, then it is throwback / old school.
Sure, we love Nike, it's just those other insginia's don't make it look authentic.
Really, Nike Duck alumns, we all know Oregon is the Nike school.
It would have said more to have left the Pac 12 and the Swoosh off of the uni's.
You might have actually gotten more Promo mileage out of NOT putting the Swoosh on...and then getting cool buzz about how you left the Swoosh off to get the authentic feel of the golden era Ducks.

Great ide, except for the ridiculous fact that the jerseys have a different and worse design, terrible design actually, and the silly swoosh. Make it original or leave it be.

A terrible design, really? What makes it so bad?
Who the hell is Colby Alexander?

Haha clearly not a fan of the Oregon ducks then...He was one of the highly touted high school runners from a few years ago that Oregon recruited. He's been a starter on the XC team and just ran for the ducks at Pac 12s scoring some points, but nothing too great. Not surprising people really don't know who he is since he hasn't really done much for the program..

The swoosh is really an accent mark. It's read or-e-GONE.

+1 LOL
In regards to the post stating that Colby Alexander hasn't contributed much to the Duck program....Correct, he hasn't run much in the last year. Colby Alexander is a redshirt frosh for the Ducks. He didn't run XC or indoors this year. Mono in the fall. Injured indoors. Came out of nowhere to score in PAC 12 1500. The week before he was just steps behind Wheating, Dorian Ulrey, and Kris Gauser at the Oregon Twilight 1500. Pretty much went unnoticed. At PAC 12's he was just a sec plus off the win. Not bad considering it was Lalang, Derrick and Dunbar that were a sec ahead. Lately he's been running right with the big boys and actually beating some pretty tough guys. Nice addition to the Duck mile corps.
Alexander has come back onto the radar with his superlative racing over this past month. He scored in the Pac 12 championships and has another three years to become a dominating distance player.
Nice touch with the jerseys. The crowd was pumped to see the teams in the retro gear. Brought back great memories.
Will they be wearing them at Regionals and Nationals?
I don't think the sprinters back in "Pre-days" wore the fitted tights which the women and men were wearing this weekend. Imagine the sprinters wearing that old cloth garb? Of course, the way they destroyed this past weekend, I don't think it would have made a difference.
