Seriously, what is wrong with Sketchers and Meb. His kits look like they are an auto-racer's suit...

Meb is finally being financially rewarded as he should be for a career that has overshadowed every other American distance runner of the past 3 decades. More runners should do the same.
i've always thought track and field could learn a thing or two from nascar... now if only we could integrate drinking and jorts into the sport...

Tailgating would be good. Gambling too.
Meb getting paid is not a joke.
Yeah, he should be mocked for having the sense to procure a good number of sponsors and then being loyal enough to them to support them all at once. What a bad person.
Meb's a joke, and it's evident by his hilarious sponsors. the comedy will continue at the Olympics...when he fails, hard. I hope he races in his swim cap again...HAHAHAHAH

Fails like he did winning the O trials? Or like he did when he won a silver medal? Or like he did when he won the NYC marathon? Or like he did when he held the US 10K record for so many years? You have no understanding or respect for the sport.

Gambling, too much room to cheat and fix. But tailgating- you got it.
I know that a lot of the letsrun dweeb types think taking even sip of alcohol makes you a bad person, but in the early days of road racing a few beers after the race, at the post race party was part of the deal.
I remember getting 2 free beer tickets every time I ran a race.
There's be a party after with music and dancing and, yes even for us distance guys, girls. We were the cools ones after the race.
Now, I see people run, stick around only if they get an award and leave once they get it.
Tailgating in reverse- after the race instead of before it.
OK, the spectators can start before. Maybe have some multi loop course- 2-3 loops for a 10K.
The loops don't have to be the same over and over. In a city setting- they can start and finish in the same place but use various loops.
Meb is a great role model & a very smart business man. I hope other athletes learn and follow his footsteps.

I hope you're trolling. Meb is showing the way of the future for the sport. Exclusivity by shoe company's is a bad business model. If the sport wants to grow financially, it needs to model itself after other more lucrative activities.
