It is VERY funny that you would rank Baylor ahead of the University of Texas. It is not close. UT is a much better school academically. Baylor may cost more but it is not nearly as good.
substitute ou with wvu and you got it down.
UT isn't by far better than Baylor, but academically it is the best school in the Big 12.

The National Science Foundation rankings of total R&D expenditures for faculty research are almost exactly similar to the doctorate rankings.
Now if you want to rank the schools by admit SAT scores or class sizes or something else, you're going to get really different results because the universities have to cater to different audiences. Some of the public schools have to admit any students above a certain SAT score.
