Love that he does it in the national vest! Surely this is the event that Australians are cut out for; combining a proud miling tradition with copious amounts of alcohol.
Amazing how fast he drinks those beers. That really is the key to a fast time.
He didn't even drink the entire beers. He left some in the bottle after every lap.
Yeah thats the WR alright...for the "Half" beer WR
Seriosuly? at about 1.50 the camera zooms in and you can still some beer left in it

Agreed we need to see the empty bottle upside down over the head
These guys would get owned in an American beer mile where it is compulsory to drink the full beer.
can someone please confirm that the beer was at least 355ml ?
Yeah its legit. I was there.
The bit at the bottom looks like froth to me. Pretty unavoidable when drinking them so fast.
Not even close to finishing the last 2 beers. This doesn't count in my books.
You gotta have the technique bro. My boy Webb could kill those beers without foaming them up. Guy should be DQ'd for failure to finish his drinks.
Listen up, you floggers have prolly never skulled a beer, but when you skull em so fast like we do down under they froth. This is the WR, but I know about 50 koori's from out in Coolongalook that could go fasterrr
Quality drinking by the kid.

If you are going to claim someone can do it faster, post a video or it means nothing.
Was that a 440 yard track? If not, it was a beer 1600 m.
Would like to see that kid do it with cans and with the traditional head pour to prove that it is empty. He has skillz, but doesn't really have the record as far as I'm concerned.

Look closely my friend.
They start at the mile start line, 9m before the finish line.
It's legit.
From his twitter account.
My 5:16.3 has been verified, now number 2 all time. Some indecision over the 5:02. May have to come out for the fans again this weekend

I want to vote "yes" for this but it does not appear that 2 of those beers were finished. Froth counts. It is part of the beer. It needs to be empty.

Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
