I heard Abdi got beat.
I heard Abdi got beat.
Couldn't find Delilah D in the results.
She ran 25:49 for 2nd.
Top 5 ladies: Delilah D was second. Results at chicagoaa.com.
Julia Lucas 25:36:00
Delilah Dicrescenzo 25:49:00
Diane Nukuri Johnson 26:11:00
Melissa White 26:28:00
Nicole Blood 27:16:00
those are some decent times, most have been a nice day to race in Chicago this year.
Not a breath of wind. Sun was just getting hot when front was finishing.
I doesn't get much better.
Couldn't believe the amount of people. The second wave was still in corral when first corrals finished. You finished, got water and food, walked out of finish area and there were thousands waiting to run.

Thanks, when I looked before it had White in first and Blood second. I searched Delilah's name and it said results not found.
Weird.
In this day and age, how in the Hell can the server be busy this long?
For what they charge for races, you'd think they'd have a server more sophisticated than something from the 90s.

Was this a 5 miles race? I shocked how fast women are running these days. Well, it is PEDs times. Anything is possible if you use it.
Nicole Blood has only been training for like 6 weeks after 1.5 years of injuries, that is nuts.

Please stop regurgitating hype from athletes and their coaches about how they have "only trained X days after Y days of injury." It is always exaggerated BS. Are you there to race? No. Don't race. Or do, without excused. Yes? Good, then race. Shut up about how you have only been up to 100mpw for two months.
New topic: How did Bairu do?

Thank you for sharing your dim insight, it will appeal to any other dumb hillbillies who view this thread.
Is the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) staffed with "hillbillies?" In your world, anyone who entertains the idea of competitors using PEDs to gain an advantage is a hillbilly?
Was there a team competition this year? That is usually the best part of this race and I haven't read anything about it this year.

No, in his word anyone who just flat out accuses anyone fast of using peds is a dumb hillbilly. At least in your case, your response appears to make him right.
DON"T just accuse fast people that they are cheating. Let WADA do their job- which they do well in this sport.

Huge props to BOA and Shamrock Shuffle again this year. Class event, and the Team Competition has gotten better and better each year, well done.
Julia Lucas looks like she's about 15. But wow, big props to her seemingly coming out of no where and running very fast.
Why aren't there more team type competitions? Awesome experience yesterday-- fun to see how much better the competition was among elite teams even vs. last year!
