Why the hell does Jordan Hasay continually think she can always outkick everyone. Time and time again she loses races because she waits too long before pushing the pace. Sure she's win a few races this way, but I'd bet she's lost many more.
Just look at her stature...she's not got near the power she thinks she has. You think she would learn her lesson.
She's training for the 5k, she looked amazing. Learn about Track and Field. Lets talk about Flood. hahahaha. 9th place and never in it. Flood sucks!

Learn about track and field???? You may want your own lesson. If she's training for the 5k, wouldn't it be her to her advantage to force a fast pace vs. a sit and kick with faster 1500m/3000m runners in the field. Ala, Chris Derrick who even though he lost made sure he didn't wait until 200m to start moving. Just saying.

I agree. Her speed around the final bend is not going to cut it. I don't know how she'll improve
No sure why it hasn't sunk in - its been blindingly obvious for YEARS that she will always get picked off at the end. Her ONLY tactical options are to break the kickers with fast/slow during the race, or simply be a front runner all the way.
I wondered whether she could ever be a Viren and do the 600-to-go thing, but I don't think she's fast enough even for that at top level.
She'll get with AlSal after college and get speed.
I also have a feeling she will join that AlSal group (and he needs another female stud to replace Kara). I think he'll be very good for her, too
or maybe she'll pull a webb and go back to mando
I think she did great. Afterall, she got big points for her team in the mile race a couple hourse earlier, then picked up more big points in the 3K. Does it surprise anyone that Oregon has been National champion each of Jordan's three years on their team. She is as huge a team player as you will find in the sport, and she is still improving. Let's not forget that her goal this year is to peak for the Olympic Trials...she will have a better kick three months from now.

Apparently if she had a kick, she'd dominate. I guess that means she has the endurance. Therefore she has just one element to work on and months to do it. I wouldn't count her out. She has performed at a high level for a long time, and she has a great competitive drive. She may have been ready too early last year, but I think she'll be ready this summer.

i agree she has an outstanding career in front of her, i just think she will be improving for years, not months. she is only 20-21 her best years in all probability will between 25-35.
she can be better than kastor, davilla, fleshmen, huddle give her time.
Twice in two weeks month Hasay let someone pass her on the inside. With all the race experience she has, why is this happening? She is very, very good, but so are several other girls and yet the camera is always fixed on her at the line, etc. Too much undeserved hype.
