nampa is not "high altitude". it's not even high enough for an altitude conversion.
Not to mention that the 800 is not affected by any altitude.

2500+ is considered high altitude for training. I swear the more I come here the more I am astounded at how stupid Letsrun.com posters are about running.

Doesn't matter. 800 is altitude neutral. Everything shorter gets an advantage for competing at altitude; Everything longer gets a dis-advantage from altitude.
