got kicked down, spiked the baton, and boom. could cost them the meet.
He should have been DQed for looking back 876 times.

I have never, in my life, seen someone look back so many damn times in my life.
Congrats Augustana, hell of a finish!
Think he didn't want to lead. Gave a heck of a push over the last 600. That Augustana guy pulled that last 200 out o' his butt. Doesn't matter where it comes from though, it happened.
It's Adams*8 btw.
KARMA!
VIDEO???
When Dr. Joe Vigil was there this never would have happen. He coached The Men of Adams. Not little boys.
I'm sure while Dr. Vigil was there there was never a "man" who lost his cool at some point. Is it acceptable? No. But that happens sometimes when you play sports and you have passion for it. I'm sure it won't ever happen again after Damon Martin has a talking with that guy.
I think it will continue to be the same. Adams St continues to attract the same kind of athlete... the guy that wants the glory at DII and is scared of not making it at a DI program. Most of these guys are talented as hell, but have the typical DII insecurity complex that they think the world revolves around them.
Someone has to have the video.
they are all around 30 years old and not american
Whoa man, the guy is a freshman runner for one of the top distance teams in the country, and had a big lead, lost it, and lost his cool. Please don't bunch all of us D2 guys into this stereotype just because of this guy in this specific situation.
Nobody cares about the baby divisions' nationals or their baby DMRs. Obviously the babies will act like babies.
Just watched the DMR recap. They didn't spike the baton the anchor threw it forcefully to the inside of the track, just whizzing by an officials head. Guy seems like a pretty big doucher to me. I'm sure his parents are very proud of him. And yes I can comment because I've raced and beaten the anchor.
To label all of Division II as babies is a bit extreme. I'd say it is time to hop of your Division I high horse.
link that please
I'd be pretty pissed if I was that guy's teammate and just lost a 2nd place at nationals because he's a moron.
It's worse than that. The entire team got 2nd because of him. They would have won by a point.
finally found this.

This is a direct reflection of their coach. Classless!
