4:08 (don't usually race this)
8:42
14:59
31:53 (based on longer distances, I'm capable of around 31 flat)
and.... 9:54 (I've run around this time on 3 occasions)
I lose so much time / momentum on every water barrier that my race ends up like a fartlek session and I just get too tired to use my flat pace to run the sub 9:30 I should be capable of.
The 14:59 was 2 weeks after the SC time.

ironically my steeple PR happened only three weeks after I set a 5k PR of 15:45. Never was able to put it together after that, due to injuries and other issues. But if you are efficient, you can steeple very nearly your flat 5k pace.

31:48 (32:11 on the track)
10:03 (only ran 2 my entire life, in college and 10 yr later at age 32). With more practice and racing seems like 9:30s would have been reasonable.

Then why respond, Dickhead? Are you too scared? Not tough enough? Afraid of water? Ball up, man. Give it a shot. You've beaten 8:40ish guys, but can you beat a steepler? Not with your balls in your purse. Hey, Ray!
My brother, the doctor! Ricky, get the lamoe off my yard!

I'm too pretty for the steeple. The steeple is for uglies and losers.

Ironic because even though I ended up running 8:50/15:25, my steeple PR was set when I was probably in 9:05 3k shape. You'd think I would have gone faster the next season coming off a 20-sec 5k PR indoors, but I didn't.
