Why doesn't he put on some muscle and try out for the 400 or 400 hurdles?

Why the 795m?
He ran the 1000 a week or two ago at a low key pomona pitzer meet
he is running the 1500 All Cal Challenge Cup this weekend!
That is strange.
He is supposed to speak sometime from 1 to 7 on Saturday at the TED event at UC Irvine.

After 795m, Andrews caught him and won the 800. However, Jock made the WC team and Andrews didn't.
Jock doesent run indoors. He never has.
IIRC, he tweeted he ran 2:22 for that 1000m and was pleased considering it's still pretty early.

This is a great rivalry. Reminds me of the Latavia Thomas - Phoebe Wright rivalry from a couple years a go. Its great for college athletics.
I've seen Charles Jock run plenty of March 1500s. He has historically ran over 4 minutes. Of course a March 1500 at low key races is meaningless in the overall scheme anyways!
a little bit of racing at a distance your not going to race often cant hurt. keeps you excited and breaks up the monotony of training and racing over the same distance.
but they both have a pr under 4:00.
Charles Jock doesn't care about indoors. Charles Jock cares about showing up when it counts in the outdoor season.
