Abbey D'Agostino upset at Ivy Champs

Abbey hit me up, I have the special sauce you need to win it all.

avenges the 5k result with a solid win in the mile though. She was a speed demon on that last 100m.

Losing the 5k was a fluke. She wanted to sit and kick to conserve for a big Sunday and held off Lanois of Columbia but let the Brown girl in on the inside at the tape. She was obviously distraught about it.

Nice recovery though and she should have a great 3k in her against Flood, Hasay, Maier, Infeld and co in a couple weeks at NCAAs.

It's one thing to be the "unknown" and another thing to be the "favorite".

Ask Hassay about that, she'd know something about it.

Word is that Kellner, Hartung, and maybe some other Cornell women were sick (flu?) the previous week. They certainly didn't look snappy, though both did a bit better the next day in the 3,000 (where Hartung PRed, I believe).

Lots of extraordinarily close finishes in this meet, including in several longer races where you usually wouldn't expect them.
