-- Velibor Radojevic SO Northern Iowa DNF
-- Forest Braden SO Boise State DNF
-- Chris Solinsky FR Wisconsin DNF
-- Jason Woolhouse SR Oklahoma State DQ Rule 5-5-3c
was it a tactical, slow race, or was it really hot
Anyone know what happened to Solinsky? He was in the top 5 at the half but DNF\'d.
what this means... is that cheseret could be tired from the 10km... i think cragg would've killed!!! too bad he ain't american!!
woolhouse was a big time DG; finished fourth i believe. if i'm not mistaken, the rule they're claiming he broke is the one where a runner voluntarily leaves the track/ abandons the race and comes back.
Ritz was chillin.
that was meant to be DQ
So that girl from Turkey would have been 11th or so in the mens NCAA's
"Heat doesn't effect times."
Magness on the Dyestat boards a while back
other armchair quarterbacks agreed. This proves they were
right. These guys wouldn't run any faster at 60degrees than
90degrees, right Steve?
Should be "affect," not effect...
That is obvious! Teg,Luchini,Ritz and Cheseret all slowed down 25-40 sec because the track is Texas was longer than the ones in CA
So what is up with Ritz doing all the work? Is he setting himself up for a career as a rabbit?
1000 2:50.51 Ritz, Hejny, Woolhouse
2000 5:36.8 Ritz, Cheseret, Luchini
3000 8:23.61 Ritz, Cheseret, Luchini
4000 11:11.1 Ritz, Cheseret, Luchini out the back door
If you are out front, you'd best be putting the hammer down, especially if you don't have a kick. That was just stupid. Obviously he learned nothing from indoor.
Cragg: "Hey Dathan ... thanks for doing all the work"
Amen.
CO-fool: Since you are obviously an very smart guy and right
near CU; perhaps you could phone up Mark and offer your services. That would be one conversation for the ages.

..which makes u even more pathetic for remembering and off hand post magness made a long ass time ago
wat the hell hapened to Teg and the rest, i figured it would some down to these 2 but not but 20 seconds, did they just let them go or wat...theyre not that much better
and while this win the Chesaret was impressive with the fall, id really wouldnt characterize him as a \\\"gutsy\\\" runner
he worked his way up well but they were pretty much chilling up front
I say hes not gutsy because look at how he races. he just sat on Cragg the entire time and didnt try any type of move until the the end in the 10K
He pulled the same thing on Ritz tonight
talented-yes, good tactically-yes, but definetly not gutsy
...sorry, the whole thing about gutsy vs talented, etc was intended for the other thread about Cheserat falling

Teg finishing 3rd is quite an accomplishment. He has had very little training lately due to an achilles problem from about 4 weeks ago. He is now feeling healthy, but lost some training time. At one time he was not going to run NCAA's and just try to get ready for the trials. He probably did about as good as he could of done considering the circumstances.
