Solo 600 TT today in 1:17.09. Looking to run a fast 800 next weekend. Any predictions?

1:46.2
If you run slower than 1:42.6 you are weak. Don't bother getting back to us if you live up to your practice heroics because we'll just read/watch the results all over the internets.
I ran a 1:25 tt and the next week ran a 1:54
That is good a good progression from your 1:20high but your goal should just be to finish your race an not fall.

1:44-1:45. And I'm usually right.
1:48.6
If you ran 1:17.09 for a solo time trial yet need to ask what your 800 time should be, my guess is that you are a 400 metre runner moving up (hence the lack of experience the 800). In that case, I'll guess you are in 46.5-47.0 shape and should run somewhere between 1:47.5 to 1:50.5.
117 600m is good for 148/9 800m but then the guy that over trains will go 151 and the guy who runs within himself (in training) can go 147 off that kind of time.
the tables below work pretty good in reality ... see...
My guess is someone who can run 1:17 is not asking for advice on here
Thanks for the replies!
No, I am not Alan Webb. I do appreciate the comparisons (regardless of the connotation), though.
Just a self-coached runner who likes to come on here every once and awhile to see what people think. Gets me through my work!
That is good work. Regardless of what happens, it looks like you are in good shape. I'll give a 1:49-something. Let us know!
