I'm looking at the schedule for the Big 12 Indoor meet this weekend. Here are the running events in order of length:

400m
600y
800m
1000m
mile
3000m
5000m
It seems way too congested between 400m and the 5000m.
Do they really need the 600y and 1000m?
Do they really need the 3000m in addition to the 5000m?
