On the replay I am even more impressed. Early on, Centro was tucked in nice and comfy up front, while Batty let himself get too far back. He had to bump and grind his way through most of the race just to get on Centro's tail. Combined with the 1:59/1:55 splits I think this guy has more in the tank time-wise and will be a significant player even this summer and definitely after that.
Sorry but Centro crushed him and yes he has the CR but Centro is is what 3 years younger then Batty and he would owned all those records had he not gone pro.
My point is the are both college age, but Centro is much younger and faster.

To whomever said Centro is on a different level than Batty.... no shit. Centro and Wheating are on a different level with all U.S. milers and if healthy are a lock to make the team.
For the 3rd Olympic spot Batty is definitely a favorite at this point. It all depends on him staying healthy and not burning out before June.
