Centro NEVER looks fatigued. It's eerie.
Seriously bro that was so smooth it was disgusting.
Sometime within the next 3 yrs he will threaten the AR.
Centro now #5 all-time US Indoor list. Russell Brown's 3:54.08 from earlier is bumped to #6.
As far as the collegiate record goes...centro would have it if he did not turn pro
he still had indoor eligbility...right?

he'd also have a lot less money.
dude, run for the mo.
Considering his agent, with appearance fee plus the win bonus, my guess is he pulled in between 35k and 50k with this win. He was the only marketable guy in the race that made the millrose games. his appearance fee, like lagats, was probably through the roof. This would be solidified by the fact that both fields were full of collegiate athletes and the games itself were not full of its usual string of elite athletes.
Agreed. I would like to think he can run sub 3:54 indoors like its a nice jog in the park. But he probably gave it his all to get to that time.

Glad to see Mad Len and Centro got their thyroids in line.
Centro into the top 40 AlltimeIndoors I think
O'L top 75ish maybe a bit better.
What do you mean by thyroids?
Thyroid gland: A gland that makes and stores hormones that help regulate the heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, and the rate at which food is converted into energy. Thyroid hormones are essential for the function of every cell in the body. They help regulate growth and the rate of chemical reactions (metabolism) in the body. Thyroid hormones also help children grow and develop.
The thyroid gland is located in the lower part of the neck, below the Adam's apple, wrapped around the trachea (windpipe). It has the shape of a butterfly: two wings (lobes) attached to one another by a middle part.
The thyroid uses iodine, a mineral found in some foods and in iodized salt, to make its hormones. The two most important thyroid hormones are thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), which is produced by the pituitary gland, acts to stimulate hormone production by the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland also makes the hormone calcitonin, which is involved in calcium metabolism and stimulating bone cells to add calcium to bone
