Sure, and some people run marathons every weekend. Like I said, it's a "general" rule. Recovery doesn't mean taking the 9 days off, but I don't think you could be in peak performance for another conference-type meet within that time frame. If you don't believe me, check back in with us after you graduate. As far as the 2 races you ran within 24 hours, do you think you would have run faster if you just raced one that day? Just because you don't feel completely beat up, doesn't mean you're fully recovered enough to run your absolute fastest.
