I was at the race. Galen stepped on Mo's heel during the first lap
and Mo fell. he came back to the leaders but he couldn't keep up with the Irish and Canuck.
i saw it on the board, i thought it was rupp originally but the replay showed it was either ciaran or milne, cant remember.
WHERE DID YOU SEE THE REPLAY MAN? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A LINK TO WATCH THIS?
sick race, i was there too. i couldnt really tell for sure from my angle, but i thought it might have been galen. ciaran killed it at that the end, and russell brown didnt show up like he did last year.
MO is now RUPP's beeeyatch.

Looked like it was Rupp on the replay to me.
Worth noting that it also caused Rupp to leap over him and lose his stride. He also kept looking back to see if he was coming and appeared to allow the pace to slow so Mo could stay in it. Rupp picked it up after a slow halfway of nearly 2 mins.
Rupp probably would be 3:55 today in a better race. Nothing super impressive but an ok rust buster.

Rupp should have saved that for Merga.
Is this the first time that Galen has beat Mo? Even with the fall and all
Yes, Galen had a good race. I think this was the first time he went sub-4 on a normal sized indoor track, so good for him.
Just watched post-race interview with O'Lionard, is he on the Thyroid meds now? Looks a lot leaner than a guy who eats what he tweets should be....

How exactly did he force the others to run slowly.

James Brewer (DNF) was the runner that tangled with Farah.
Ref: tweet from @jambobrewer a few hours ago:
"Awful night on the track. So sorry @mo_farah for catching your foot. I hope you're not hurt."

Have you ever seen a track race? It's not reslly that hard. People follow the leader, and he essentially allowed thing to go to a crawl, continuing to look over his shoulder until Farah was up with them. Then he picked up the pace. If that had not happened, likely the two of them would have pushed the pace.
Any video of the actual race?
Flotrack seems to have every interview, but I can't find the race itself.
On ESPN2 today from 2-4.
just the last lap http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtI3ri3aYwY
Wow, I think people do need to stop and really appreciate two 10k guys going 357 indoors in early Feb. And with all the interupptions it's even mo impressive.

Some ironic truth to this. Isn't this the first time Rupp has ever beaten Mo? Or at least since they joined the same team?
