Very nice sign.
Very nice sign.
Did he look relaxed?
I would go back to lusting after young weightlifting girls pal.
You're better at it than trolling.

1:51-1:49-1:47-1:4?
He's on the right "track". Give him another 6 mths and he'll be there.

I don't know that his results a going to scare David Rudisha, but it looks like its more continuous improvement, right on schedule. I'd guess 1:48-50 next time out.
What about the Wanamker mile?
We can hope, can't we?

Rick Scheff is running? And is at GT? He used to be the most intimidating runner back in hs. Good to see him still at it
he might be able to pace for a world record in the mile now with that time!

ElG would have edged him at the 800 mark.

For real. Represent.
Two freshmen on my college team just ran 1:51...
Ok , this is a good sign , one that he his healthy , two he is racing , three he is racing smart ( working on getting leg speed back ) , four he has time and talent.
Biggest negative for him is patience and the time away from elite type racing.
It would be nice to see him on the line in Eugene.
He still has to qualify for the trials.
It's funny that Rick Scheff is running so well. I heard that he drives a jeep wrangler, listens to dave matthews, and wears open-toed sandals - so, basically a huge hipster, which doesn't mix well with running. still a good race for him, beating alan webb ain't so bad.

I was alway taught that this part of the season is for working on navel speed. Leg speed comes later in the season and then, just a few weeks before the big one you should work on foot speed. Has the wisdom on these items changed recently?

That's not a hipster.... that's a hippy.
+1 on Rick being a hipster. I heard he had a nice cold PBR before this race, and of course had a few more after to celebrate.
dude, hipster and running go very well together.
i met a dude who ran 15:30 at a 5k and was like, yeah, i just played a lot of ultimate frisbee in college.

"leg speed" is the new "full mile". God I hate this board.
