Sounds like what Webb used to do, run sick time trials in practice. We all see what that got him.
Look where it got Mo, everyone is different....

Where did it get Mo? It's February in an Olympic year. I didn't hear about these time trials last year.

American record at mile
American born record at 1500m
#1 time in the world at both plus #2 time in the world at 800m.
A few GP victories and 3 USATF Championship victories.
I saw O'Lionaird tweeted that he ran 2:55 and a 400 PR in the same session at altitude.
Can't wait for this race now.

Webb was a lot better off running killer time trials then losing to College freshman and racing into shape. His confidence must be shot and he might've potentially injured himself after that recent fall.

Why should you hear that, Galen ran a lot of time trials some with Webb, and he's fine. I don't think Alberto has changed something and why should he, results speak for themselves.
Farah needs to relax - pring in the 1500, screaming 1200s in time trials...I've got a bad feeling about this. Sort of an Augustin Choge sort of feeling.
Yes, two usa records a** hold. He also ran a fast 1:43 > 800 meter time. What the F*** running slow did for you?
Did he look relaxed while running it?
Cool story bro!
From a thread on Daniel Komen:
'It was from a duathlon.com article. Excerpt:
"Last year we did a session and it was 1600, 1200, 800, and 400, with 3 minutes between each interval, and it was myself, Daniel Komen, and Paul Koech, and the other top guys. And these are my times: I ran 3:57, 2:56, 1:55, and 55. And I was kind of in the middle of the pack. Komen ran about 3:54, 2:53, 1:54, and 55. Not many people would ever conceive of training at that speed."'

That's not impressive, considering that's the pace most olympic 5k's are at the last 3 laps.
Important question...was he in trainers, flats, or spikes?
I've already had 3 beers

Webb ended up needing a serious lithium prescription. Lets hope Mo can do better.

Nope, try again. I'd maybe agree that 2:58-3:00 is, but 2:51 is 3:48 mile pace. Sorry man, but you're way off.

Nope, I wouldn't call him "way" off. Off the top of my head, that's at least close to the pace that the 2008 5k finished at.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
