Runners Yet to See 2012

Puskedra just ran a half marathon. It was on the front page. Why do you even care?

A lot/most of those Oregon guys should open at the Husky Invite. I'm pretty sure Blankenship is graduated?

Blankenship is still on the minnesota roster.

perhaps he only has outdoor eligibility?

what about non-US college athletes? You know - ones who would actually be competitive on the world's stage?

Blankenship has indoor and outdoor eligibility. He ran at Mississippi State freshman year, which doesn't have indoor track. He redshirted outdoor last year for the sole purpose of having a full season of eligibility this year.

He also said in an interview this fall (video under griak coverage) that he had hip surgery this summer and had to cross train all fall.

Pretty sure Colby Lowe is either injured, or too beat up to race. Something to do with his knee

I've seen Ryan Hill on campus. He's fine as far as I can tell. State isn't really running in any bigger meets until the Husky Classic and Tyson Invitational.

They haven't put any of their top runners into meets yet really.

Oh and I'm going to call it right now. Watch out for Andrew Colley to be NC State's number one runner by the end of outdoor

Eric Fernandez opening up this weekend at Notre Dame

Ben Blankenship has indoor and outdoors, but is more focused on getting healthy for May and June than racing in January

No one cares about the Oregon runners anymore outside of Puskedra, all the good ones either graduated or left

Most of the Wisconsin runners are also opening up at Notre Dame this weekend

Oregon: Greer was looking excellent in outdoor last year, and my new fave is Mike Berry, who already laid down a 45-low split last weekend.
