Amazing, he could take Combest's 60. He could also contend at USA'a for the win with that kind of speed...That's roughly a 6.53 I think. .45 for the next 5 meters sounds reasonable.
If that had been a 60m he would have the fastest time in the world this and it probably would be ranked in the top 10 world performances for the season.
And if my best 300m time was for the 400m it would be a world record by several seconds.
Doesn't matter he's doing Football isn't he?
He'll be huge and football fast (track slow) in a few years.
An incredible 50-60 split would be 0.84, truly world-class...taking half that and adding it to 6.08 gets 6.50, which would technically be a world lead in the 60m at the moment.
Powell's 50m, however, converts to 6.48 using that same 50-60 split, which is a FANTASTIC split, only possible by guys like him, Bolt, and Gay.
So Bracy's 6.08 55m is probably more like 6.51 or 6.52, which is still great, and would have him in roughly a tie with Carter, and both would be just behind Powell.
Bracy! High school! No way! F-ING HIGH SCHOOL!
First race of the season and he busts a USR!? Fastest time over 55m by ANYONE since 1999?
Damn, kids gonna go easily sub 10 in the 100 this year.

Go elsewhere. You obviously don't understand track at all.
already a .3 drop in his 55pr this year! and he ran 10.05 outdoors last year. maybe he will be an olympic contender this year.
In this race it seems like he anticipated the gun about as perfectly as is humanly possible...

Great performance! Maybe he can finally put the HSR in the 100 under 10 where it belongs!
Definitely a false start. Add .2 to his time.
It's a lot easy to cover 5 meters, versus 100m, don't you agree.

On video replay its definitely not a false start, but it was the type of start you can count on getting everytime.
6.08 = 6.51 = 10.02

It's JANUARY and he's still in football shape. Considering he's got a windy pr of 10.05, man.. This could get scary.
Football shape is good for the 55, not so good for 100. He probably can't get near 10.00 right now, but yeah he'll be deadly in the spring. Long ways to the Trials from here, though.

If you freeze-frame the video, he absolutely nails the start (smoke, then he moves). Amazing start, but with Olympic blocks it might have been called back.
Here is a freeze frame of the start. Not a false start but as Industree points out, the Olympic blocks might call it a false start as it was a little too quick (if that makes sense).
