Just bit into a fresh honey crisp apple (purchased yesterday, nice and crisp) and it has a bit of an alcoholic taste. It's not really that strong, but it is certainly there.
I don't have anybody around to confirm whether I'm crazy or not at the moment, so has anybody else had this experience? I could understand some fermenting if these were old apples, but like I said they are quite fresh.
Also, they are organic and I did rinse well. And dammit I already pitched the receipt so not sure if I can take them back, although I guess it's not that much money lost.
