I am reading this book with training profiles of various distance runners. I got to the part about Gerry Lindgren, this is what it says he did: "He ran 5 or 6 miles in the morning, another 8 to 14 miles with track team in the afternoon, and after going to sleep, got up at 1:00 A.M. for 10 more miles. With added mileage on weekends, Lindgren says that he collected over 200 miles a week." A few pages earlier it also says that he did 88 mile long runs once a month. After reading this I was not sure if I should believe it or not. Does anyone know if he really did this or not, and if it is actually possible!
