Hey everyone. I'm just wondering if I have a shot at breaking 70 minutes in a half marathon. I've always wanted to run a good half, and now that I'm done running in college I think now's my best time to give it a shot.
My pr's are 25:30 for 8k cross and 15:30 5k on the track. I don't think I ever reached my potential with the 5k, as I was training at a higher level than it suggests. These pr's were done on a relative average of 70 mpw. I know that my mileage would need to be bumped up to make that next step to running a good half. How much though? What are some good training tips for the half?
