Air Streak Ekidens- Any Good?

I've got a pair with a high mileage count on them. They are great for races and workouts. The upper on mine has essentially fallen apart and I'm hoping they stay together for a while though. Well worth the 29 bucks on easybay!

How do they fit size-wise? I wear a size 9 in Nike Skylons and Span Triax- Are they pretty true to trainer sizes?

1. They are excellent. Think Air Streak Spectrum Plus only very slightly narrower (difference is negligible) and with a slightly more solid-feel to the upper.

2. They fit the same as most Nike Flats. Order the same size you would in any other Nike Flat. I've owned dozens of Nike flats and the only in which I don't wear 10.5 are the current Waffles.

The price is a steal. I've worn these for 20 milers before and came very close to breaking a 15-year-old 5-mile PR in them a couple of months ago. I almost wore them for Boston this year but played it safe instead.

I see from your post that you appear to have only worn Nike Trainers, not flats. In that case, sizing depends on how you like your flats to fit compared to your trainers.

I wear 10.5 in all my Nike Trainers too. I have occasionally worn 10.0 for a few Nike flats and, while it fit, I found it slightly more snug than I would prefer. When I race I prefer the same fit that I have in my trainers. Some people prefer a more snug fit.

I still recommend going with the same size as you train in, but it all depends on how those trainers fit you and what you like when you race.

Yeah, they generally run pretty much right on, but I buy them 1/2-1 size small simply because I like flats tight...I also wear no socks, so that makes a small difference. If you are able to wear flats without socks that touch the ends of your toes, go 1 size down...if not go 1/2 to no change at all.
