    Pretty convincing performance- does anyone know what this guy Andrews' story is?

    Andrew is from Guyana. pretty good runner as his 2:25 shows. big up to him

    There have been a few collegians outside of the NAIA to run marathons while still in school. Dan Feldman (MIT) ran 2:23:02 at Boston a couple years ago. A guy I went to school with quit the track team (ok track/xc runner, no superstar though) after freshman year and ran 2:28 as a 19 or 20 year-old college sophomore.

    Remember Paul Gompers? 2:15 as a legitimate freshman at Harvard.

    crazy Jason f***in' Mayeroff ran 2;23;46 while a senior at Centre college, going through the first half in 1'08.
