Ritz is running the Silicon Valley Turkey Trot tomorrow. Last year at that race Webb ran 13:36 and Rupp 13:39.

Ritz to go sub-13:30 FTW.
I'm sure he's training through it and during a block of marathon training it's hard to see him going too fast. Anything in the 13:40s would be fine.
actually based off of what he ran in NYC, into a headwind, leading almost all the way, on a hilly course....he's most certainly in 13:30 shape, perhaps better (on the SJ course)....will he run that fast? if the race is quick, i say yes, otherwise he'll prob just run similar to NYC and make it a good hard effort, which will likely net him the win unless someone else is in phenomenal shape.
cheers, dude-
Who else is running? From a few twitter posts and articles, I'm gathering David McNeil, Stephen Sambu, and Jordan McNamara. Anyone else?
Ritz will break 12:50 easily
Is his drug suspension finally over?

Wow. Webb beat Rupp as recently as one year ago at a distance better suited to Rupp. Maybe we should not write him off just yet
Well it was that race that got my hopes up that Webb still has it.
If he can train for 6 months without injury, he can succeed from 800 up.
Webb is saving it for a brill masters career

i read in a very recent article, ritz himself said he is not in 12:56 for 5000 shape yet, and he would know, don't you think?
also this is a road race and times are slower on the roads.
13:25 would be excellent.
sounds like 13:35 is a good time for ritz now at 5K.
