How can you not like this kid?? Not scared of facing anybody in the NCAA or even just a few days after. So much for the fragile "I won't race unless I'm in absolute top form" mentality.

He runs a lot of miles and trains very hard. Hard not to root for him. That program has a very no bullshit/workhorse mentality.
He's gonna have a fight on his hands, especially after that race yesterday.
Idaho has a good contingent of guys (Britt, Colle).
Is there a list of entries?
He does seem like a badass for sure, but it's not like he's not in top form. He'll be slightly tired, but he's still capitalizing on his peak fitness here. He has nothing to lose by doing one more race before he shuts it down for the season.
Nothing new hear, top NCAA Canadian athletes always have to run their national championship the following week and they usually do very well. Quite often they are in better shape than the pros.
Simon Bairu did it several times, as did Kathy Butler. If he went to Wisconsin maybe it would be easy (;>)

Very, very few current NCAA Canadian athletes double back for the Canadian champs less than a week later.

Did you hear that everybody? Happens all the time. No reason to post it for everyone else to see, TrackCoach already knew it would happen.
