Technology now allows us to ENJOY ourselves even more when we are running. Thats why there have been radios in autos since the 1920s. Nobody is giving car radio listeners tickets and driving is far more dangerous than running on a xc course.

To the above post and the other who thinks there is "NOTHING" wrong with running with music: I don't normally get irritated with stupid comments here because I assume you're trying to bait me, but I will go ahead and be the first to say that if you've never thrown on an iPod and rocked a particular route 2 minutes faster than usual with minimal effort, you aren't a very good and/or smart runner. If I could wear an iPod during any given road 5k, I'm fairly certain I'd have a 20 second faster PR. Yea, I'm a p*$$y, not as tough as Futsum...but the fact remains.
