Has anyone tried to figure out all of the at large spots for nationals? I don't really know how it all works and just want to know who is in?

I would imagine at this point these teams will likely be in...
Columbia
Providence
Princeton
Michigan
Arkansas
Northern Arizona
Tulsa
Minnesota
Cal Poly
Washington State
Chance to get in...
William & Mary
Notre Dame
Penn State
New Mexico
Virginia Tech
Cal
Ohio State
UNC
Ohio State
Oregon
UCLA
Louisville
Navy
4 out of west, mountain, midwest, northeast (16)
5 out of great lakes (5)
3 out of mid-atlantic (3)
2 out of south, southeast, south central (6)
Arkansas would be 31st?
Roommate also just got same totals.
I just edited this thread and highlighted it on the homepage.
Hopefully more people will chime in.
Start right, do you want to go through your logic so people can pick it aparat. That's the easiest way to make sure this is right.
Sorry didn't keep track of the results this year. Will Kolas be right? Last year they had some issues....
Will the Providence women make it in??
5th at the NE, the only way they can get in is if Cornell can get in on their own it seems.
Texas
Texas AM
Wisconsin
Indiana
Stanford
Portland
Georgetown
Villanova
Oklahoma St
Oklahoma
BYU
Colorado
NC State
EKU
Florida St
Florida
19-Princeton
20-Minnesota
21-Tulsa
22-NAU
23-Michigan
24-Columbia
25-Providence
26-Notre Dame
27-Ohio State
28-New Mexico
29-Washington St
30-Cal Poly (pushed in)
31-California (New Mexico, Fl
Florida St
Gl
According to my calculations, there will be no at-large teams from the Northeast. If Providence had finished fourth, it might have pushed Cornell in. I think 7 teams from the West will get in.But I don't claim to have this all correct.

Last year both men's and women's Kolas were 100% accurate.
Louisville will be the last team on mens side to get in
Georgia beat New Mexico, Syracuse, Georgetown, and Florida at Wisconsin..
I've got this on the women's side:
Autos: Villanova, Virginia, Iowa State, Colorado, Florida State, Syracuse, Michigan, Arkansas, Washington, Michigan State, Texas, Georgetown, NC State, New Mexico, Vanderbilt, Arizona, Boston College, Oklahoma State
At-large: Minnesota, North Carolina, Stanford, Oregon, Cal, Toledo, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, San Francisco, Arizona State, West Virginia, Penn State, Florida
First three out: Weber State, BYU, Cornell
Again, I'm just basing this on the 11/1 Kolas and my reading of today's results.
Wow, 7 teams from the West for both women and men??
UGA is in with 4 points. Wow.
Arkansas, Oregon, UNC all sitting at home.

I left Iowa out. I'm guessing they go in and Florida is out.

Maybe on the women's side. The guy doesn't have that on the men's side.
question: how many individuals from each region make it to nationals?
The top four individuals from non-qualifying teams in each region.

It seems that in the Kolas notes/calculations from 11/1 that many of these women's teams got a point from Iowa as Flotrack predicted them to get second. But in the end they were fourth today.
Did you come up with this taking out the Iowa points for these teams? It might make a difference...then again maybe not. I haven't taken the time to do the calculations, so I'm curious how you factored in Iowa. And for all I know, maybe Iowa still gets in as an at-large.
