Oregon would've qualified if they had there #3 guy, but instead they're not going to natinals. This just proves the selfishness of LV's decision

No. No. No. Vin screwed Oregon over. He is more interested in hosting meets than winning them right now. His focus isn't on his team.

Don't know much about the Oregon coaching system, eh?
Problem with your post is that Oregon is most likely in. Eight teams from the West made it in last year, so why wouldn't Oregon (6th) make it in this year?
What if LV were sick and couldn't run? Would that have still been screwing over the team?
Shame on Oregon for not having the depth to cover a freshman that they gave a greenlight to run triathlons.
4 made it last year.
OK but the silver lining is we don't have to find out how to pronounce his name
Yeah.... if I was his (former) teammate, I'd be pissed.
Could Oregon men actually make it to nationals after being 6th at Regionals? Don't know how the points system works. I think that the women will make it but how will the men do?
So, what do you think it takes to be a real man?
Oregon should hope it does not get in , seriously, they will be pretty close to DFL if they get in.
Put it this way cloder to that than top 10 in my opinion.
I think Jeremy Elkaim is going ot be very good, he is actually from my HS, but I never saw him being Oregon's 3 as a frosh, and where is Mac Fleet? While primarily an 800/15 guy he ran well at 8K cross two years ago.
Even Robbie Andrews was 33rd in a Region in his first college cross season, really, he was pretty good in HS at 5K.
That's unfair to some other regions. They claim that west region is fast but why they not winning nationals if they are fast. Oregon ain't making this year as ateam. period

Why do you keep going around LetsRun telling everyone that 8 teams from the west made it last year? YOU'RE WRONG.
FOUR teams made it last year: Stanford, Oregon, Portland, and Cal.
Oregon is NOT most likely in. It is extremely rare that 6 teams make it in from one region, let alone 8.
Get your facts straight. FOUR. NOT EIGHT.

His last name is THREE syllables...

you can't make decisions for me or for lukas, and i and lukas can't make decisions for you.

Honestly what the Hell does being a man have to do with this?
Lukas has 9 National Titles and 2 International Titles to his name. That more or less makes him more athletically accomplished at the age of 18 than you could ever hope to be in your lifetime no matter how "man" you are.

Ok life is more important that one person. Screwing over a group of people who are counting on you..... Not manly at all, sounds pretty cowardly to me.[quote]u.s. infantry assn wrote:

Being in an isolated small college town in the middle of nowhere with no visibility is not the place any 18 year old potential international super star should be.
Lukas will be making $500k in endorsements as a pro and he can still run with UCCS at Mt Sac, etc. and enjoy fun with the girls while travelling with them ;-)
Plus he got his dad a primo tri gig. His immigrant family is living the American dream.
