Hello, I will be running the 400, 4x4, 800, 4x8, and 1600 this year and I am going to buy 2 spikes, one for the 4 and one for the 8/16. I was wondering which two spikes would be the best to get. I normally use the victories for the 800 and reall like em but I heard there's better spikes for the 400. I appreciate your answers. Thanks!
You don't need another pair at all. If you really want spikes get the Maxcats. I didn't like the Celars too much.
They're spikes. You don't need another pair for the 4, MD spikes work fine.
Victories without a doubt for the 800. You can get away with using them for the 400 if it is not your event. If it is, the Maxcats are always good.

What are your opinions on the Ja vs the maxcat for the 400?
I had the Ja. Got them in white with the shiny silver on the bottom. I thought that they looked awesome! But, I never liked them. Could just be a mental thing, though. I ran against a guy who had them who ran 46, so it is not like it affected him, haha.
I never had the Maxcats, but I have heard good things about them.
I do recommend the Asics previously posted. My best advice for you would be to try each of them on and see what works. Everyone has a different feel for spikes. I hated the Victories at first, but I couldn't imagine racing the 8/15 in anything other than them now.
