30 miles. It was terrible at the end but I wanted to see if I could do it. BTW it was winter and around 30 degrees so I did not sweat much.

In cold conditions, you lose a lot of water through your lungs... you breathe in cold air the warms in your lungs causing the relative humidity to drop very low helping to draw moisture from your alveoli.
I did a 5-hour run last winter while ultra-training. Most of the run was on snowmobile trails and I didn't plan to be out that lung. It was closer to 20F for me and I don't think I sweat that much. I was probably thirsty when I got done, but I don't remember it being that bad. If I had to do it over again, I definitely would've planned for water.
Marathon, multiple times. Never ran that far in practice.
