Falcon and Scott at some point.

This doesn't happen often.

Holman, Atkinson, Ryun.
Exactly 3:35?
Maree before he became American.
3:35 or better.
I don't think Holman has. I know he has run 3:36 3 times (92 Trials, 94 at Penn, 95 behind Hyde at UNC).
Atkinson, don't know.
Ryun, may have.
Spivey maybe too.
I am pretty sure this is just the 3rd time in the last 10 years.
Holman ran 3:31.52 in 1997 but I'm not sure if he ran it in the U.S. or in Europe.

Of course not.
Ryun WR 3:33.1 in Los Angeles 1967.
Only Ryun has run faster than 3:35 in the US, otherwise
Hyde is the only one to run <3:36 before Aug 2001
I just did.
Most great milers didn't, because they realize that you're supposed to peak in august in Europe, not may at the home depot meet
No you didn't. But I did.

Scott ran 3:35.15 Eugene 1980, Jennings ran 3:35.9 Sacto 2000. I think Falcon ran 3:35 in the States, as well.
I guess we have to wait until August to find out whether or not his peak has been met or not.

None of those showed up in my All-time list but that might be because they had faster times elsewhere? It looks possible that it only lists single performances slower than 3:32.
Both Joe Falcon and Seneca have run 3:35 as HOGS, both on U.S. soil, both on the JMAC track at f'nam. Not american and not on US soil, but who have also run 3:35 or faster are Consiglio, Bruton, and Hood!!! Any other schools with five 3:35 guys!!!
Oops forgot O'mara. That makes it an even half dozen!!!
When did I break 3:35? Don't remember that.
If we wanted to get technical would it be true that only Ryun has run sub 3:36 on US soil? The other guys all did it on US cinder or mondo, no?
Don't forget McMullen!
If you include the mile equivalent of 3:59.99 (3:53.3) then add Dave Wottle with his 3:53.3 at Eugene on 6/20/73.
