Bong Rips 4 Jesus!!!
Bong Rips 4 German? Let's celebrate, now we can rip on him when he doesn't win a race in the future!
Confirmed.
Any word on why Girma wasn't running?
Lutz looks like the real deal. Damn!

No kidding. What a bright future!
People have posted in the past that he is academically ineligible. I can not confirm that but just relate that a couple of posters have written the same thing.
Awesome race for Frosh Craig Lutz!
I was down in college station and got a chance to see the race. German and Colby tried to run in together but one of the race director's grabbed German for first place. I don't think he tried to win. The kid doesn't even try anymore and still dominates. Look for German to place top 10 at NC's with about a 29:27.
wow, a senior already and still struggling to rival his freshman achievements
I think German will be top 5 with maybe a shot to win. Have you seen the video's of he a and Colby running together , he is floating along controlled , easy , he has yet to break loose.
He will prevail, he will win nationals, he is....GERMAN DA FERNANDEZ. BOW TO HIM
Any truth that he was seen in a boot after the race?
really, the guy runs great and obviously under control and someone still says something shitty
too much
what is clear is that when he is right, he really is that good.
It's the southwest for goodness sakes! A guy is allowed to wear cowboy boots down there. Now if he were wearing UGZS, that might be a different story...
Well don't put to much into this. One thing is good and that he appears to be staying healthy. Honestly though who cares what he does till nationals. The guy could bomb every race and if he was top 5 at nationals so many would be quick to forget what he did at conference or regional s. I wish him well I love when people hate on people they know nothing about. Everyone faces there own struggles, nice to see him competing well again.

OK State is gonna need to shore up that fifth guy if they want a 3-peat. But having German and Colby capable of being top 10, perhaps top 5 will be nice.
