Hey guys, i'm from australia and currently training for the 800m. My current training is normally like this for a week -
Monday am: 8km easy run.
pm: Weights session focusing on upper body and core
Tuesday: Fast track session.
Wednesday: Easy 6km run and core work.
Thursday: Fast track session.
Friday am: 8km medium-tempo paced run.
pm: Weights session focusing on legs and core.
Saturday: Hill work (it varies).
Sunday: rest day.
I've only really got back into athletics around 2 months ago but have been training pretty hard since, I ran a 1:32 600m a month ago, around the same time ran a 2:53 1000m and two days ago on the track I did 4 x 400m with a one lap jog rest in- 57, 59, 58, 60. I will be doing some minor meets but obviously won't be doing the fastest time possible at this time. What's your opinion on what times you think I could be doing in about 1 and a half months time and 5-6 months (major meets). Thanks :)
