Whats the most inspiring race performance you've ever seen? Last year i was at a bigger meet watching a 1600 with a bunch of 4:20 guys. One of them fell flat on his face at about 800 meters, got up, started gaining on the leaders, and ran a goddam 60.5 second last lap to win in 4:19 something. This is probably the most inspiring race I have ever seen, it was ridiculous and awesome to watch. I didn't even know the kid but it was one of the most courageous things I've ever seen, the kid was literally killing himself to win, his form was terrible but somehow he willed himself past his competitors. Does LRC have any great, inspiring race stories?
