    Haile Gebrselassie has pulled out of the 5k in the Netherlands tomorrow with a slight hamstring problem.

    He was to use the race as preparation for a 10k world record attempt in Hengelo 9 days later.

    According to the recent Running Times article on Geb, he is doing a lot of speedwork in attept to get his sprint back that his disappeared as he has aged. Perhaps he strained his hammy and is why is has pulled out of the 5km race tomorrow. Better to be safe than sorry! Tinman
