I feel those times are different... hmm yes, they are.
What matters:
15 Craig Lutz FR 23:47
62 Lukas Verzbicas FR 24:36
Oregon got their butts kicked not just by Wisc and Stan, but by UCLA. That's all you need to know.
I'm sure Lukas and the other Ducks did the best they could and nobody should be demeaning their efforts as the Oregon fans did with German and got called what they really are by RT.
Its the a$$hole obnoxious Oregon fans that just got their butts kicked back to reality.
I sincerely hope he wasn't juiced before and this is the "clean" LV

You have serious issues, dude. I'm not kidding. You really sound like you need professional help.
Lukas Verzbicas
Very rough opening race, have some rethinking to do. Time to move on and get fit for the rest of the season.
I would suggest that both Mr. Lutz and Mr. Verzbicas
will improve through the season perhaps at different
rates
Welcome back to reality. Better not think that people are looking at Oregon "in awe" as they get off the bus anymore @LukasVerzbicas
Lutz ran great for a college freshman--14:39 for the last 5k. LV did not run great, but it's his first race in college, and often those don't go well. Move on now.
Dude Lukas ran a 3k time trial in 15:34 the other day. Clearly he's in tip top shape and had a bad day.
Lutz = baller. Now he needs to back it up in more important meets later in the season.
PS Should state for the record that I think Lukas is a baller and I truly root for him to succeed.
It could have been much worse......
6 (113) Joe Rosa FR 24:54 7 (192) Jim Rosa FR 25:30
what happened to that Moussa kid? where's he?

Not to brag, but i could easily run 15:34 in a 3k time trial... So am i also in tip top shape to win college invitationals?
He'll be sub 30 at Nationals, for reals zzzzzzs

Hope so...but when have you ever heard of Lucas having a bad day?...the guy was a work horse in HS winning everything in CC and then setting records from early indoors to the summer

What does rethinking mean? Rethinking running vs triathlon?
Not the best, not horrible, maybe 15-20 seconds slower than his expected time.
Lukas went out way too fast. He was in the top five runners through 3k and then slowly faded, and then really started to struggle. I think with a more conservative approach he would of ran well. You have to blame the Oregon coaches for this
