The only 25 year old is you, sitting in your Mom's basement.

No one who knows him thinks he is overage, what do you know that evereyone else does not know.
Actually I am above 25yr old and I am in my own house that I built with my own hands. You on the other hand probably have no working man skills in your life. Lol loser.
As everyone knows, Kenyans skip the ages of 15-20. There are simply no Kenyans in this age group. They're sitting around playing Pokemon and running 5:00 miles at 14 and then WHAM they're 22 and running sub-13 with nothing in between.
The old record was held by Mohamed Khadraoui, not Keino.
I don't think he's close to 25, but I also don't think he's only 17...probably a couple of years older. Former course record holder, MoK was older as well.
So is this a record for 18 year old juniors?!
Funny. I didn't think Keino actually ran the Garrett Mountain course. I ran against Bob in high school, and I don't believe he ran the Pascack Invitational or had counties or league meets there. (Coming from a small school that competed against Saddle Brook, who's home course was Garrett, I ran there probably 5 or 6 times). But if he did run it, obviously he had the ability to set the CR. Edward's time is just amazing BTW -- Garret might be a few clicks faster than Homdel, but it's not a fast course.

Keino had to run at Garrett Mountain as part of his sectional meet.
He held the record before MoK, 15:32.
Garett Mountain was/is a very very strong layout, it is challenging, an incline uphill finish, very loose footing firt part of race as well.
This is a monster run , Mo K was Third All Time at Holmdel as well, until the Rosas came along
Lukas Verzbicas got his age questioned too. And, the fact he was born in a different country. That white boy didn't do any bitching. He just ran and beat any competition. More white boys should be like him, seriously.

When he ran 15:21 at Holmdel in 2003, MoK was #2 all-time, only behind JDJ's 15:16.
Then came Forys, then the Rosas, and now Mazzaccaro is ahead of him too; MoK sits as #6 AT currently.
Indeed, like I said until the Rosas came along he was number Three, Forys has been out of HS 4+ years now, H was Number 3 behind Forys for 3 years. Now he indeed is number 6 and will move to 7 next week
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
