I'm currently running around 100mpw. In the past, I've always taken one low-mileage recovery day of 3-6 miles, but that was back when I was running 75mpw. Now that I'm running more though, I'm not sure if I should keep the low mileage recovery day at 3-6 miles or up it to 8 or so, since 8 would still only be slightly more than half of what I normally do. I know some guys don't even take low-mileage recovery days at all.
Thoughts? I've never run this much before so I'm interested in how others schedule their 100+ mile weeks. Thanks.
