I wear a stability shoe (Asics 2160s) and I have a chronic case of patellar tendonitis. It's not the worst it can get, but it sucks and I've had it for at least a year now off and on. It even came back after 8 weeks off with another injury.
I think my foot strike with my right foot and left foot are different. With my left foot, I feel that I pronate more because the ball of my foot normally would land first. I've never had any problems with this leg. However, every footstrike with my right foot is directly under my body in the center and I always seem to land on the outside of my foot, so I guess I would supinate then maybe? I don't know. Is it possible that my shoes aren't offering what I need for both feet, and what sort of shoe can I switch to to change it?
