finish fifth year. if he gets another ncaa title (primarily outdoor 1500 but if he gets an indoor title as well he's all the better) and any more records (collegiate record fo instance) he'll not only get a ton more marketability but he'll get offered a bigger contract. why do you think rupp got such a lucrative contract besides being nike's poster child? had the multiple titles, all americans and world/oly teams to make him worth more. same for wheating, reason he waited so long to sign after school was to make himself more marketable in terms of times. he already had the titles and achievements he just needs some good pr's to make him look great on paper. acosta is doing the same thing right now, he's jsut trying to make himself more marketable but he's going to have to sign soon anyways because he's been out for a while now and needs to make some money.
if centro gets another ncaa outdoor 1500m title and makes the oly team before going pro, he's going to be goldne ( but he'll most likely sign as soon as school finishes that way he can get paid for being at the trials and racing.)
i would stick around oregon. it seemed to work well for him this year. might as well stick with what works.

eh I think he should not do it and just focus on the Olympics this year.
If you think he could make more money for winning another NCAA title you a) have no idea what he's been offered and b) are a complete moron.
I 100% think go pro. He just finished a career highlight medal race, off USATF & NCAA titles. So arguing a 2012 NCAA title boosting his stock makes no sense. He can still train EXACTLY the same & race most of the races unattached, while being a STUDENT. He can GUARANTEE his financial future now, w/o ANY running detriment and with ZERO risk of injury or a Webb, Wheating or German-like off year in 2012. Name a non-Lagat US miler in recent years, who didn't have off yearS. And spare me the 'that's negative thinking' argument. It's being smart. ANY REPLY SAYING CENTRO CAN DO WHAT HE WANTS AND/OR LEAVE HIM ALONE, MEANS YOU HAVE NO ARGUMENT AND ARE ADMITTING I'M RIGHT.
After he earns his degree he should head back to DC to train for the OTs.
ttc, I like that you started screaming like a goddamn idiot at the end of an otherwise intelligent post.
Mad props ya moron.

MHAHSID,
You think he should change his current situation? What are you some kind of MORON?
Dom- If I don't caps those sentences, then those mentioned nonsense replies will be entered by ignorant others. That ignorance happens everytime.

Why in hell would he want to do that? He's now a professional athlete and has proven he can compete with the best the world has to offer. He has nothing to gain by going back to what is now effectively a kindergarten league.
Can I be real my buds?

This guy bring absolutely no value to the table. It's like I'm conversing with complete, utter morons.
Sour Diesel.
Centro, Jr. has a few classes at UO remaining to finish his degree. I think he should finish and then return back to Maryland to train for London 2012. He should also study for graduate school exams. Lauren has already returned home after completing her studies at Stanford.

Fair point my bud. With all due respect, any chance the moronical ignorance (your words my friendo) mainly come from you?
I have it on good authority that Dom Wikins has "had" Centro, so I think he knows what he's talking about my buddos.
You're all fat.
I was actually thinking he should move up to the 10k
Am I doing this right?
You're all MORONS
Finish degree, go to grad school.
Professional running could easily be juggled with school, having extra hours in the day does not improve the 3-5 hours he probably trains now.
8 hours of sleep
5 hours of training
6 hours of school
2 hours of school
3 hours of free time
Of course, everyone hear would want him to focus solely on training, which would mean he'd train for what 3 hours in the morning 3 in the evening and have 12 hours of time where he just walks around doing absolutely nothing in between, gets bored and goes insane out of his mind and becomes a headcase and places 5th in the Olympic trials.
