Correct. There is a definite anti-female feeling expressed here on Letsrun.. Little girlyboys that don't date? Can't establish any kind of relationship with women?
Metrosexual or gay? Who knows.

Someone posted as me and said the "we get beaten badly, etc...." but that's true. And it's also true that my coach does not listen. I've told him numerous times that ALL of our runs are absolutely ridiculous and he just doesn't care. He's been the coach for 25ish years and he clearly just wants to do as little work as possible. He also hates me solely for caring/talking to him. He loves all of the athletes that just do their thing and avoid him. But his one rule is that he wants us all to run together every day, which I think is stupid because for example, I beat our 7th runner by 8 minutes in a 6k........so clearly we aren't all capable of producing the same results.
If you coach is actually like this, do you think he is really gonna care if you don't run with the slow girls. Just run by yourself! And if other people don't like it, then too bad for them.
I'm considering St. Louis, what's wrong with them? They seem to be improving and the women are doing pretty good?
From my perspective, Jon Bell does an outstanding job.
What's your beef?

There certainly is, although in this case there seems to be a lack of due diligence. If the coach has been the same coach for 25 years, was he really a good coach for 23 years who gave up between when this girl committed and when she started running for the team, or should it have been obvious that the team wasn't serious? Occam's razor, and all.
That said you can't change the past. If it means that much to the OP to run with a college team, she's not going to change the opinion of a coach with that much tenure so the only choice is to transfer. If it's just running she wants, she could take the advice of other posters and run on her own.
transfer
My advice...pack your bags and never return to Sam Houston State University again.
You really messed up by not looking into the XC program at your school. If it was that important to you that would have been the first thing you did. If academics is your pick, suck it up, do your own thing regardless and study your ass off.
If you are still looking into a better program, start packing and get going. Do not finish the season to extend your eligibility eslewhere. Look at the academics and the actual program before moving, you do not want to make the same mistake twice.
Coaches like that never change and will never care about their athletes. If they are not willing to spend their time coaching their teams, they should never be called a coach.
poop
My guess is Marquette
you're so close, a stones throw away
Depaul???
Loisville???
My name on this forum is Silverfox and your name is "Demoralizd" Get a name. As far as I am concerned your post and all posts are fake and don't mean anything to someone who gets on this forum to learn and help others. If you are not wasting folks' time, then, woman.man up and have a name and be a real person.
If your story is true, then, be a leader and talk to the coach and help ner/him out. That is what I did, do, and will continue to do. This forum is a great place to learn, but not to complain about real or fake crap that may or may not be real!
Have a great season!
Saint johns red storm or seton hall is where she goes to school....I'd bet the house on it!
We should date.
demoralized and I are teammates, fyi. i absolutely swear this is not the same person.
If "Across the way"....is who I think it is, then he does run for the same program as me but he's on the guys team. I'm a bad poster so if anyone has any more questions then ask him....and if he answers correctly I will let you all know....
Also, if he is who I think it is, he's heard me complain about my team/runs/coach literally every single day after practice. and he's seen how miserable I am!
Bell is rough on the edges but not a bad coach. Bradley is a complete idiot and impossible to get along with. Spent years hoping he would grow up, but I believe he has a deminished role now.

Sheesh, why don't you TALK TO YOUR COACH about this? That's what s/he's there for!
Coaches on teams like this just don't understand.
