Does anyone have any info on who is running in the elite fields in Berlin other than Geb, Radcliffe & Mikitenko?
Someone mentioned that Makau is running but I can't find any confirmation of that.

That might be about it. The field there is never very deep
I think there will be a lot of sub elite's gunning for 2012 times so I would expect a bit more depth in the 2:10-2:15 range
2010 Tokyo winner Masakazu Fujiwara (2:08:12 guy) is supposed to be running, but he hasn't been in great shape the last few months so I don't know if it'll actually happen.
Paula should not be allowed to run. She won´t break 2,30.
You're right there Kev, she won't break it, she will destroy it!! 2:25ish is my prediction. How far under do you think she'll go Kev;)
Not super elite, but decent UK guys Scott Overall and Ben Whitby are both out there looking for that sub 2:12.
Mary Keitany is running.

Right, so Mary Keitany isn't confirmed for any Marathon yet. Maybe Dubai?
A few days ago there was a press release giving a few additional names:
Yegon (2:06 in 2009)
Ramaala
Samuel Kosgei (2:07 debut in Prague this year)
Florence Kiplagat
plus some Russian and Italian women (Grigoryeva, Euro champs medallists Yulamanova and Incerti etc.)
This morning a Berlin newspaper reported that Patrick Makau will indeed defend his title.
Just because Keitany isn´t confirmed yet it doesn´t mean she won´t run. There are quite a few star runners out there still to be added to the New York or Chicago elite fields.
Any idea what kind of shape Makau is in?
Could be a stupidly quick race if he's on the same form he showed in Rotterdam and Berlin last year. Perhaps he's thinking to leverage Geb's pacers.....
Can confirm rdn's post regarding Makau. Following was in today's Berlin Marathon newsletter:
(Geb & Radcliffe) will be facing top-notch competition on the streets of Berlin. For the men, this includes last year’s champion Patrick Makau and Gilbert Yegon (both of Kenya). The women’s competition is led by the German record holder, Irina Mikitenko (SC Gelnhausen, 2:19:19).
Patrick makau is in great shape .GEB with due respect is no match 4 makau am his training partner
Weather is looking to be as close to perfect as you'll ever get with very light winds and temperature around 12-15 degrees.
Here's the elite field from the Berlin media guide...
